Iain handles all aspects of trade mark work, with extensive experience in worldwide portfolio management, trade mark strategy and counselling, anti-counterfeiting and dispute resolution. He has a particular interest in contentious matters, reflected in his appointment as Principal Editor of the INTA International Trade Mark Opposition Guide.

Beyond trade marks, Iain has an interest in the protection of industrial designs in the UK and European Community. He maintains an excellent success record in domain name disputes before Nominet and WIPO, and has handled a number of high-profile cases.

His clients range from SMEs through to blue-chip multinational corporations, which are involved in all manner of business activities.

Iain works as part of our integrated European team and splits his time between our London and Hilversum offices.
