Career

Jennifer Stevens is Managing Partner at Laura Devine Attorneys in New York. She is a UK qualified solicitor with extensive experience advising on a range of UK immigration applications including representatives of an overseas business, Skilled Worker and Intra Company, sponsorship licences and compliance, Global Talent and Investor. Jennifer also advises on family-based applications as well as British nationality, naturalisation and registration. Jennifer advises individuals and small businesses, as well as multinational corporate clients across a range of industry sectors, including media, entertainment and finance.

Jennifer was acknowledged in Who’s Who Legal for being an “experienced corporate immigration lawyer” and for having an “in-depth knowledge” and being “committed to improving the quality and consistency of UK immigration law”. Jennifer is also recognized in Chambers and Partners UK and in Chambers Global as a foreign expert and “first class,” as well as being described as “very knowledgeable and helpful – a delight to work with.”

Jennifer is co-convenor of the Immigration Law Practitioners’ Association’s (ILPA) New York working group and is the immediate past Co-Chair of the Immigration and Naturalization Committee of the Section of International Law (SIL) at the American Bar Association (ABA). She is also a member of British American Business (BAB), and St. George’s Society.

Jennifer has presented on UK immigration as a guest panellist at the Brooklyn Law School, Columbia Business School, provided training to other immigration law practitioners for ILPA and MBL and has presented at several universities across the UK.
