Charlotte is a Partner and Family Law specialist at Slater Heelis.

Charlotte has a great deal of experience in acting for clients, not only in divorce, children and cohabitation disputes, but also in wider areas of property disputes.

She brings particular expertise in advising on complex high net worth financial cases and intricate children disputes. Charlotte is currently advising in relation to a complex children case in the High Court concerning issues of internal relocation and the suitability of arbitration when there are allegations of abuse. She is also in the midst of advising a client in relation to an appeal of an interim child arrangements order in the High Court and has also recently concluded a complicated High Court case concerning off-shore trusts, tax and foreign property.

On the Board of the Wigan Youth Zone, Charlotte is the Safeguarding trustee and has a keen interest in helping young people in the community. Charlotte has been described as being a “sensible practitioner who understands her clients and puts those needs ahead of any view of profit” and a “brilliant family lawyer with real insight and great dedication – very able and very polished”.
