Position

Carol is a Director in the Employment and Dispute Resolution team advising on all aspects of contentious and non-contentious employment law.  She also litigates in the Civil Courts in connection with claims arising out of breach of confidentiality and restrictive covenants including injunctive work. She has experience of acting as supervising solicitor and submitting independent reports to the Court on Seize and Search Orders.

Career

Carol has over 30 years’ experience in both Dispute Resolution and Employment Law.  It is this experience that is engaged when advising clients to balance risk and reward to achieve the best outcome in any particular situation.

Carol started her career in London and worked in firms specialising in the entertainment industry and since moving to the heart of England in 1993, her practice area has focused on the manufacturing and services sectors.

Carol Shaw is a Recommended Lawyer in The Legal 500 2023.
