Attorney of the courts of the Republic of Ecuador, specialized in Public Law from the Universidad Católica de Santiago de Guayaquil, Master in Energy Law from the Institutio Superior de Energia, together with the Fundacion Reposol YPFand Formación Cremades CalvoSoteloin the year 2006, graduating with honors. On October 8 of 2010 he obtained his pHD in Law. His doctoral thesis, titled “The autonomous Spanish state and the territorial decentralization in Ecuador”was approved with the maximum grade of Outstanding Cum Laude by the Thesis Tribunal formed by Proffesores: José Luis Meilán Gil (Presidente), Santiago Muñoz Machado, Luis Cosculluela Montaner, Joaquín Tornos Más, and Marta García Pérez. The thesis professor was Jaime Rodríguez-Arana Muñoz.
