Posse Herrera Ruiz frequently represents key industry stakeholders on the full life cycle of energy and natural resources matters, from tender applications, through to planning and financing issues and corporate transactions. With a strong track-record in both the conventional and alternative energy spheres, the practice is particularly noted for its a growing focus on projects involving renewable sources for clients such as Grenergy, among others. High-profile specialist Alvaro José Rodríguez possesses extensive experience in energy and environmental law and is particularly sought after for his expertise in the oil-and-gas arena; he recently advised Oxy (through its subsidiary Anadarko Colombia Company) in a farm-out agreement with Ecopetrol for the transfer of a 40% stake in four offshore blocks.
