Mónica Bonnett is the Firm’s Life Sciences and Intellectual Property practice groups partner. Over the last two decades, she has acquired extensive experience in the Life Sciences sector counseling a wide range of clients on patents, industrial designs, business secrets, health registrations, plant varieties, and cannabis.

Within her expertise are all processes related to patent prosecution, including litigation and dispute resolution, patent applications, technology transfer, consulting, and searches. Monica is particularly adept at handling patent filings, industrial designs and utility models, and health registrations in Latin America through. She also handles health registration matters designing strategies for filing and obtaining health registrations for food and beverages, medical devices, medications, dietary supplements, home care products, personal care products, cannabis, and cosmetics.

Monica has managed extensive portfolios of patents and health registrations in Latin America for national and multinational clients, including several of the largest pharmaceutical companies.
