Career

Romina Tobar has been counsel of Prieto since 2023. She is part of the Firm’s environmental and regulatory team.

Specialist in environmental advice to investment projects in all their regulatory stages, with emphasis on energy, aquaculture, infrastructure and mining projects.

She has vast experience in environmental assessment in the SEIA, in processes of community participation and indigenous consultation, in permitting and administrative and judicial procedures in general from the developer perspective as well as from the regulator.

Before joining Prieto, she was head of the legal departament for the evaluation of the Servicio de Evaluación Ambiental.

She was previously an associate lawyer in the projects area at Vergara Galindo Correa and in the environment area at Correa Gubbins (Currently Correa Squella).
