Position

​Meluleki specialises in all aspects of international trade and investment law across a range of sectors that include steel, poultry, chemicals, paper, electronics and cement. His work has involved various investigations into customs duty amendments, including anti-dumping, safeguard and other trade remedy investigations, negotiation of bilateral and multilateral trade agreements, including the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA). He also has expertise in matters relating to mergers and acquisitions, anti-corruption law and general commercial law.
Meluleki spent a year working in the corporate department of Skadden Arps, one of the New York magic circle law firms, as part of an exchange programme organised by the New York City Bar. Meluleki is also the former Chief Commissioner of the International Trade Administration Commission of South Africa (ITAC).
Melumeki acts as external examiner to the University of the Witwatersrand’s law faculty. He is also a member of the National Democratic Lawyers Association, Johannesburg, South Africa and the British Institute of International Comparative Law.​
