​Lenee specialises in financial regulatory and insurance law and has over 6 years’ banking and finance experience. Her experience ranges from advising on issues related to market abuse, insurance group designations, significant owner and corporate governance. Lenee also has experience in corporate structuring, medical schemes, financial intelligence centre legislation, communicating with the regulators and representing insurers, advising on transfers of insurance business, material disposals and acquisitions and advising on business conducted by foreign insurers in South Africa. She also advises on matters relating to retail insurance distribution models, cell captive structures and remuneration models.
