Career

Charles Mmasi is a partner in Bowmans’ Dar es Salaam office.

He advises on a broad range of transactional and regulatory matters across the mining, energy, infrastructure, telecommunications and agricultural sectors. He specialises in cross-border and emerging markets work.

He regularly works with major regional and international corporations, international banks and foreign investors.

Charles is a member of the Tanganyika Law Society and the East Africa Law Society. He has a BA in International Relations and Diplomacy from the University of South Africa, LLB and LLB (Hons) degrees from the Catholic University of Eastern Africa, an LLM in Commercial and Corporate Law from the University of Dar es Salaam and a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law School of Tanzania.
