Greenberg Traurig Germany particularly stands out in the Berlin-Brandenburg region due to its public commercial law advice to real estate and infrastructure companies. In addition to general housing market regulation issues, the team advises housing companies and associations, particularly on the Berlin rent cap, and also represents them in related constitutional complaints. Further to constitutional matters, the team also has expertise in regulatory obligations related to energy and recycling projects; Martin Hamer‘s expertise in waste and climate protection law is particularly sought after. Hamer jointly heads the practice with procurement expert Dieter Neumann, who advises on privatisation initiatives and project developments, among other matters.
