Career

Mauricio is the head of the Intellectual Practice at Cuesta Campos since 2012. He has focused his practice in Intellectual Property, and related litigation. His expertise goes back to 2000, achieving vast experience in trademark, patent and copyright prosecution, consulting, licensing and litigation. He represents trasnational companies, advises and designs an IP strategies suited for his clients.

His practice is characterized for understanding clients’ needs, as well as closeness with them, in addition to his legal knowledge, which allow him to design Intellectual Property rights protection strategies. Mauricio is also well-known to be an effective litigator, in administrative and judicial matters.

Author of the article “Benefits of the linkage system” in the Managing Intellectual Property publication. He represented Crocs in the process of obtaining the shoe tridimensional trademark registration on 2015, also managed Evenflo Company Holdings LLC trademark portfolio in various jurisdictions in North America, Central and South America, Asia, Europe and Africa through our Meritas affiliations.
