Position

Scott is of counsel of Maples and Calder’s Dispute Resolution & Insolvency team in the Maples Group’s British Virgin Islands office. He practises in all the core areas, including fraud and asset recovery, shareholder disputes, corporate investigations, contractual claims, cross-border insolvency and restructuring, contentious trusts and probate, and enforcement of judgments and arbitral awards. Scott has particular expertise in complex commercial, corporate and financial disputes, many of which are borne out of distressed events.

Career

Scott joined the Maples Group in 2019. He previously practised in a top tier law firm situated in Jersey (Channel Islands) and prior to his move offshore, Scott trained with a national UK firm.
