Career

Michael A. Nemeroff is President and CEO of Vedder Price, as well as Chairman of the Finance & Transactions practice group. He is also a member of the Executive Committee of the firm’s Board of Directors.

Mr. Nemeroff counsels corporations in mergers and acquisitions transactions and governance matters. He provides private equity firms and family offices with experienced direction in leveraged buyouts and growth capital investments. He also guides financial institutions in complex finance transactions. Further, Mr. Nemeroff negotiates and structures executive compensation arrangements for companies, management teams, compensation committees and executives. His many clients include The Edgewater Funds, Ally Financial, L Squared Capital Partners, Levine Leichtman Capital Partners, RoundTable Healthcare Partners, CIT Group, Bank of America, CIBC Bank, Oil-Dri Corporation of America, GrubHub, Duchossois Capital Management, Wynnchurch Capital, Valor Equity Partners, Balmoral Funds and Vance Street Capital.

Mr. Nemeroff is a member of the Board of Directors of Oil-Dri Corporation of America (NYSE: ODC). He is active in charitable and civic affairs as an Executive Committee and Board Member of the Chicago Children’s Choir and Chairman of the Board of The Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills, California.

Mr. Nemeroff, an authority on M&A and finance matters, makes appearances on CNBC and Bloomberg Television. He is a member of The Commercial Club of Chicago and The Economic Club of Chicago.
