Francesca is a Senior Associate solicitor in our Employment, Labor and Pensions Group specialising in all aspects of Employment Law and Immigration Law, having qualified in 2013. Francesca provides advice on international projects working closely with our overseas offices to collate and coordinate the legal advice and to advise on options and risks for transferring staff to work overseas and assessing and identifying the most appropriate route for overseas staff to work temporarily in the UK. Francesca has significant experience in the education sector advising on a wide range of student and staff sponsor licence and compliance issues, prevention of illegal working and queries relating to the Student Route, the Skilled Worker Route, T5 GAE route and the visitor route. Francesca has undertaken a large number of internal compliance and right to work audits on behalf of clients in preparation for Home Office compliance visits and has attended a large number of HEAT Home Office inspections to support clients. Francesca regularly provides training to clients on all aspects of the Points Based System, how to prepare for HEAT inspections and right to work obligations and is a regular speaker at the UKCISA annual national conference.
