James has been heavily involved in our international business representing the firm at conferences, regularly working with our international network. He is also a member of the Eversheds India Group.

He has featured in articles on private equity, retail deal activity, international transaction management and cross border M&A in a broad range of publications including Financier Worldwide, the European Lawyer and Real Deals.

James has spent nine months on secondment as Head of Legal at Specsavers where he was been involved in a wide range of non-corporate legal issues in addition to fund raising and acquisitions. He has twice been voted Insider Young Legal Dealmaker.

The ‘excellent’ Robin Johnson is a widely recognised lawyer in the market and manages the firm’s client relationship with Next plc, handling their strategic M&A transactions. Regularly acting for clients in the industrials and technology arena, Antony Walsh, is well-versed in global M&A and reorganisation work. Simon Masters specialises in advising on M&A, joint ventures, corporate restructurings, initial public offerings and fundraisings. James Trevis heads up the private equity group and Jon Gill’s practice principally involves private equity, M&A and venture capital transactions for high growth companies in the technology sector.
