Sarah is a Principal Associate in our Finance Group and specialises in all aspects of non-contentious corporate restructuring and insolvency.

She advises banks, secondary lenders, accountants and corporate clients, on all aspects of distressed finance and restructuring - including security enforcement, secondary debt trading, and directors' duties.

Recent instructions include:

Advising financial institutions (both in the UK and internationally) in relation to the sale of debt;

Advising the board of Urban Splash in connection with the restructuring of syndicated and bilateral lending and security across the group;

Advising BDO LLP in connection with their appointment as administrators, and subsequent trading and disposal of two hotels in the Lake District;

Advising Barclays Bank in connection with a significant debt redemption and security release, and associated priority issues;

Advising Mortgage Express and their appointed receivers in connection with the recovery of property lending of significant value;

Advising secondary lenders in connection with standard form service and finance agreements.
