Career

Yannick was admitted to the Bar of England and Wales in 2001 at Lincoln’s Inn and to the Mauritius Bar in 2002. He is also a full member of STEP UK (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners). He has a predominantly commercial and corporate advisory practice with a strong litigation background from his initial 10-year practice in an independent barristers’ chambers. He is regularly instructed to appear in commercial and corporate litigation/ADR matters.

Yannick acts as legal counsel to several domestic entities operating in the construction, insurance and financial services/global business industry in relation to their commercial, corporate and regulatory matters. He has experience in advising on trusts, cross border transactions and restructuring, financial services licensing regulations and on private pension schemes.
