Mr. Soto is Partner of the firm, specializing in regulatory law and administrative law. 

He has extensive experience advising clients in the telecom, energy, transportation and mining sector. He also has extensive experience in dealing with regulatory agencies, including the Ministry of Energy and Mines, OSINERGMIN (mining supervision) and OEFA (environmental supervision), and defending administrative proceedings initiated by the above mentioned and other regulatory agencies.

Prior to joining the firm he headed the law department of the Peruvian telecom regulator – OSIPTEL.

Practice head Gerardo Soto is experienced in highly regulated industries and in administrative procedures before OSINERGMIN, OSITRAN and INDECOPI; he is also a name to note for public law issues pertaining to PPPs. Alonso Rey is noted for project finance, concession processes and administrative matters, while principal associate Michelle Aramburú is well versed in privatisation processes and matters relating to infrastructure projects.
