Guillaume Panuel focuses his practice on the structuring of investment funds and secondary transactions (i.e. sale of mature private equity funds, GP-led transactions and preferred equity solutions).

His experience includes an extensive knowledge of the creation of domestic or transnational alternative investment funds (e.g. fonds professionnel de capital investissement (FCPI), fonds d’investissement professionnel spécialisé (FIPS), sociétés de libre partenariat (SLP)) and their management companies.

Guillaume also assists management teams in dealing with regulatory and governance matters as well as carried interest schemes.

The team specialises in advising management companies and investors on their entry into funds, and is equipped to assist with structuring growth and venture capital, mezzanine, private debt and infrastructure investment funds. Panuel focuses on the creation of domestic and transnational alternative investment funds.

McDermott Will & Emery AARPI‘s ‘smart, friendly, multidisciplinary’ practice specialises in advising investment funds on LBO operations, namely acquisitions, build-ups and disposals. The team also assists family shareholders with capital restructuring operations, management teams with LBO mandates and corporations with fundraising.
