Suzel has been with Mayora & Mayora since 1997 and has been a lawyer since 2000. She is an expert in labor and immigration law, in addition to advising clients on administrative and public procurement matters. Her professional experience includes participation in several corporate procurement processes, for national and international public bids and labor matters.

She holds a Master’s degree in International Relations from Francisco Marroquín University and a Master’s degree in Private Law from the Universidad Carlos III of Madrid, Spain. Prior to joining the firm, she worked in other law firms and companies since 1992. She is currently a postulant for a Doctorate in Labor Law, Social Security and Human Rights at the University of San Carlos of Guatemala.

She has published academic publications on various commercial, international and intellectual property topics. Finally, she has represented the firm as a speaker in local events on labor issues.
