Position

Alex is counsel in the corporate and finance team of Carey Olsen in Bermuda and advises on all aspects of corporate and finance transactions.

In his finance practice Alex has a particular emphasis on leveraged finance, asset finance, project finance, real estate finance and general corporate lending. In his corporate practice, Alex has experience advising on corporate and commercial law, with a focus on incorporations, M&A, group reorganisations and restructurings.

Career

Prior to joining Carey Olsen in Bermuda, Alex was a Senior Associate in the London office of international law firm, Watson Farley & Williams LLP having worked in both the project finance and the real estate finance teams.

Education

Alex obtained a Bachelor of Science (Hons) from the University of Toronto (Trinity College), a Master of Arts in law from the University of Bristol and a Master of Business Administration (with distinction) from Imperial College London.

Alex was admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales in September 2013 and called to the Bermuda Bar in May 2018.
