Career

Chris advises on all aspects of trust and foundation law to individuals, fiduciaries and other service providers. Chris also has experience in advising on international pensions and the application of UK taxation to offshore individuals, corporates and trust structures.

Chris is a managing associate in the Private Wealth team. As well as advising trust companies and high net worth individuals on the creation, administration, and restructuring of all types of trusts and foundations, Chris provides advice on pensions matters.

Chris trained with a leading UK regional firm, qualifying in September 2012 into their international trusts and tax department.  Prior to joining Ogier in May 2017, Chris worked in the private wealth department of a top 20 City firm.  He also has prior offshore experience.  Chris studied History at Warwick University before completing the Graduate Diploma in Law and the Legal Practitioners Course at BPP Law School in London.  During the course of his career, Chris has also completed the STEP foundation certificate and the Association of Tax Technicians exams.
