Career

Nour is part of Ogier’s multi-disciplinary Restructuring & Corporate Recovery team. She specialises in corporate restructuring and reorganisation, formal insolvency procedures, negligence and breach of duty claims and statutory remedies.

Nour has experience in advising and acting for creditors, insolvency practitioners and distressed companies in relation to winding up petitions, voidable transactions, asset recovery and liquidator removal applications. Nour also recently acted for the Commonwealth of Australia in actions to recover funds paid to employees of insolvent companies under the Fair Entitlements Guarantee Scheme. Nour also has experience in working for major companies in transfer pricing disputes with tax authorities and in advising and acting for financial institutions in relation to regulatory matters following the fall out of the Financial Services Royal Commission in Australia.

Before joining Ogier in 2020, Nour was part of King & Wood Mallesons’ Dispute Resolution team in Australia, where she specialised in restructuring and insolvency litigation, transfer pricing disputes, and general commercial disputes including contract claims and misleading and deceptive conduct.

Education
