Position

Partner specialisng in regulatory/disciplinary, criminal and fraud litigation. Particularly noted for his work in defending professionals in disciplinary proceedings and regulatory investigations. Recent instructions include the successful defence of ex-Freshfields partner Ryan Beckwith against his prosecution by the SRA, an SFO investigation into corporate corruption in Brazil and representing an experienced broker in CISI disciplinary proceedings.   His recent portfolio of major fraud cases is substantial and includes the first ever FCA prosecution and the largest ever crypto-currency fraud. Has successfully advised upon and defended numerous Proceeds of Crime Act cases both at first instance and on appeal.
