Career

Kevin is an experienced residential development partner with expertise in the acquisition and disposal of immediate and strategic land for house builders and developers. This includes the negotiation of conditional contracts, option agreements and promotion agreements as well as joint venture / collaboration agreements between landowners and developers.

Kevin qualified as a Solicitor in 2001 and has worked with clients in the house building sector for the last 20 years. This has included acting for most of the top ten house builders in England, and also acting for landowners selling land to developers. Kevin has vast experience of negotiating complex acquisition documentation, including conditional contracts, option agreements, promotion agreements and collaboration agreements.

Kevin has previously worked at a number of large City practices based in Birmingham (including Eversheds and Gateley), and has also spent three years in-house as Legal Director at Bovis Homes where he gained invaluable experience of working as part of a Divisional Management Team for a national house builder, as well as managing a team of 20+ lawyers and conveyancers.
