He has over 15 years of experience, acting in the full range of real estate litigation for landowners, occupiers, lenders, receivers and developers.

Some of his recent experience includes successfully concluding a high-value dilapidations claim on favourable terms for a landlord client, involving high profile city-centre buildings, several expert witnesses, and complex arguments surrounding Section 18 of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1927.

In other recent cases he has advised landlords and tenants on enforcement options, liability and other issues arising from law introduced in the post-Covid environment. These include rent recovery, possession and the effect of various forms of tenant insolvency on the landlord/tenant relationship.

Finally, Paul has been advising developers and applying for the modification/discharge of restrictive covenants preventing/restricting ongoing development of land.
