Chris Allen qualified as a Solicitor in 1993 and joined Blacks Solicitors in 1994, where he has held the position of Managing Partner since 2008.

He specialises in advising on the drafting and negotiation of Settlement Agreements, drafting contracts of employment, and conducting Employment Tribunal proceedings.

Chris is also a member of the firm’s Sports Law team which provides a wide range of niche legal services to professional sportsmen and women, both in Yorkshire and across the UK. The Team also acts on behalf of a number of sports clubs, associations, manufacturers and retailers.

Chris has won the Managing Partner of the Year award at the Yorkshire Legal Awards on two occasions.
