Standre is a Partner working at DFDL’s office in Vientiane, leading the M&A, labour and disputes practices.

Standre specialises in both local and cross-border merger and acquisition transactions, and has experience in the formation, structuring, and restructuring of business entities in Laos and is at the forefront of due diligence mandates and drafting transaction documentation.

He has also been actively involved in advising existing companies on regulatory compliance and has led our team on recent transactions in the forestry, insurance, logistics, mining and energy sectors. Standre also works on secured lending matters and handles corporate, labour and governance advice. He was admitted as an attorney and notary public in South Africa in 2014.
