Career

Mr. Yongqing (William) Huang specializes in securities law, mergers & acquisitions, private equity investments, and PRC antitrust filings.

Before joining Jingtian & Gongcheng, Mr. Huang practiced in a PRC law firm, Haiwen & Partners, for four years, and afterwards in Shearman & Sterling LLP Beijing office for five years.  He has accumulated extensive experience in the areas of cross-border mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital investments, and PRC anti-trust filings.  Mr. Huang has also represented many PRC financial institutions, State-owned enterprises and Chinese private firms in overseas and A-share IPOs.  Mr. Huang has special interests in the industries of Internet, healthcare, petro-chemical, telecommunications, media, banking, insurance and real estate.
Mr. Huang obtained the PRC lawyer’s qualification certificate in 2006 and was admitted to the New York bar in 2007.
