Position
Managing partner of the Edinburgh office and the personal injury team. Handles a wide spectrum of personal injury claims in both the Court of Session and Sheriff Courts. The case loads involve a wide range of personal injury claims, including employers’ liability, public liability and road traffic claims. A number of high-value claims have been settled in the past three years. Once case (confidential) was reported at the time in the press to be one of the highest personal injury settlements in Scotland. Stuart acts for a number of membership organisations and trade unions, including the Scottish Police Federation, Community Union, Prospect and PCS amongst others. He has represented a number of clients with high-value claims, including serious head and spinal injuries.
