Position

Tim heads the commercial dispute resolution practice. He specialises in information
technology disputes, commercial claims, company law disputes, franchising law and
injunction applications. He acts in all divisions of the High Court and is experienced in
International and Domestic Arbitration and other forms of alternative dispute
resolution including mediation. Tim has substantial experience in the IT sector acting
for software vendors, distributors, systems integrators, resellers and customers. He
has a particular interest in company law matters including directors’ duties,
shareholder disputes including unfair prejudice petitions, derivative claims and
warranty claims..

Trained Jaques & Lewis (now Eversheds); qualified 1987; partner Andersen Legal Garretts; partner Olswang until 2006; partner Pitmans 2006 to date.
