Position

Susan is a partner in the corporate group, where she is an expert in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and business law. Her work embraces a wide range of industries, including finance, technology, freight and logistics, and internet gaming. Her clients include entrepreneurs, owner-managed businesses and international corporations. She also heads the families in business group, where clients rely on her grasp of both complex business issues and more traditional legal matters. It is the betting and gaming industry where Susan has forged a particular reputation. She leads the firm’s highly regarded betting and gaming group and has been involved in many of the landmark transactions in the sector, including the BWin/PartyGaming merger, Sportingbet’s acquisitions over the past decade and innovative poker operator PKR. She has been praised by ‘The Legal 500’ for her ‘strong intellectual understanding of the sector’ and as a ‘go to’ lawyer for her expertise in M&A and international regulatory work.
