Career
Oleksii is the Head of the White Collar Crime practice. He leads the team of attorneys in protecting private clients and legal entities from criminal prosecution in Ukraine and in foreign jurisdictions. He is also responsible for developing and implementing of strategies on representing victims in criminal proceedings during pre-trial investigation, trial, appeal and cassation review of court decisions as well as providing legal advisory support during corporate fraud investigations.
Oleksii advises clients on sensitive financial crime issues and helps them navigate the criminal and regulatory landscape both locally and internationally. His mandates primarily focus on bribery and corruption, fraud, tax evasion and anti-money laundering law and regulation.
Prior to joining Hillmont Partners, Oleksii worked as a judge and held positions in the prosecution authorities of Ukraine.
