Position

Anna Ulfsdotter, at Ulfsdotter Law, has more than 25 years of experience of assisting clients within the public procurement area. Additionally, she has extensive experience of assisting clients within the life science sector and other regulated sectors.

Anna provides advice on all stages of the procurement process – from pre-studies and planning to execution and the awarding of contracts. She also assists with the administration and performance of public contracts during their contract period. In addition, she regularly writes and speaks on public procurement matters.

Anna has extensive experience of procurement litigation, including applications for review cases, procurement fines cases and damages cases. Furthermore, she has represented clients in the European Court of Justice, the Swedish and Finnish Supreme Administrative Courts and in the Swedish Supreme Court.

In July 2017, Anna began her work as the inquiry chair for The investigation into certain simplified procurement rules which submitted proposed amendments to Swedish public procurement law in June 2018.

Her level of competence is affirmed through top rankings in Chambers, The Legal 500 (including the Hall of Fame) and has been recognised ten times by Who’s Who Legal as one of the world’s leading lawyers within the public procurement sector. In addition, she is a member of the board at the Swedish Bar Association and has also led Upphandlingsforum (among the most famous legal conferences within the public procurement sector) for over a decade.
