Position

Nicola is a partner in our Corporate Group in London, advising clients on all corporate finance transactions, particularly cross-border transactions. She has acted for major listed and private companies on public and private M&A, joint ventures, demergers and restructurings as well as both primary and capital raisings. Recently, Nicola has firmly established herself as a leading light in the insurance sector, working closely on the firm's relationships with several key insurance clients.

Counting energy, technology, financial services, real estate and insurance as key sector strengths, Hogan Lovells International LLP provides an ‘excellent service’, which is ‘always responsive with practical/commercially aware advice’ and ‘compares very well with the competition, including magic circle firms’. ‘The team has a broad spectrum of industry and sector knowledge’, and is ‘always trying to push the deal forward’. Ben Higson heads the firm’s London M&A offering. Higson ‘is excellent, as are his team; commercially aware, pragmatic and strategic’; his focus is in the energy, infrastructure and natural resources sectors, with a growing specialism in the Japanese market.
