Deepa has over 22 years’ experience in corporate and commercial practice and is a partner in Hogan Lovells’ Mergers & Acquisitions practice.

She specialises in a number of legal areas, including mergers and acquisitions (both domestic and cross-border), corporate reorganisations and restructurings with a particular focus on cross-border M&A into Africa. In 2003, she was appointed by Clover Industries Ltd. as the head of legal. Deepa has previously held firm management board positions and formed part of other management committees at leading law firms.

Deepa has experience in a variety of sectors including telecommunications, media and communications, regulatory/compliance, agriculture, manufacturing, consumer products, mining and resources, investments, private equity, insurance, exchange control and pharmaceuticals.
