Farhana is a leading family law solicitor who helps clients with separation, divorce, pre-nuptial contracts, cohabitation agreements and children’s residence and contact arrangements. She has considerable experience of handling divorces involving complex financial arrangements and substantial property holdings. Farhana is one of the most prominent Asian family lawyers in the local area and has frequently advised on the validity of religious ceremonies under English law.

Farhana worked as family lawyer at Buckles Solicitors between 1999 and 2007, before coming to Hunt & Coombs Solicitors in 2007. She is a member of Resolution and qualified as an accredited specialist family lawyer in ‘complex financial and property matters’ and ‘preparing and presenting cases in court – money and property cases’. She is a qualified collaborative lawyer and has been a trustee for Relate Peterborough, holding the position of Chairperson for two years. She has been secretary/trustee for the Peterborough family mediation service and is currently chairing the Peterborough Family Law Group.
