Gary studied Law at Sheffield University, graduating in 1999 before completing his LPC in 2000. He started pursuing compensation claims for accident victims with brain injuries during his time as a trainee, and has specialised in this work ever since qualifying as a solicitor in 2002. Gary joined Potter Rees Dolan’s Personal Injury team in 2015 and was promoted to Partner in 2017.

In 2022 Hugh James acquired Potter Rees Dolan, taking on a team ‘characterised by efficiency, dedication and compassion‘, and known for its work in complex brain and spinal injury cases.
