Career
Ms. Nazlı Arıkan works as counsel at ARIKAN | PARTNERS ILC and leads the international dispute resolution and real estate / construction practices of the firm. Having her academic thesis on Jurisdiction in International Arbitration, Ms. Arıkan represented more than 20 different private companies and four countries in separate international arbitration proceedings held before the ICC, ICSID, UNCITRAL and Istanbul Chamber of Commerce. Her broad experience includes dispute resolution and contract consultancy projects based on FIDIC, AIA and JCT type contracts, as well. She represents both employers and contractors in construction projects amounting to billions of dollars in Turkey and abroad. In addition to representing clients in the most challenging of construction and finance matters in Turkey, she has worked on sophisticated construction projects in Libya, Russia, Yemen, Nigeria, Qatar and Jordan. Prior to joining ARIKAN | PARTNERS ILC, Ms. Arıkan worked for one of the big four audit firm’ s legal department and also in two law firms where she represented clients in multi-million dollar international projects.
