Jean-Guy de Ruffray, Partner and member of the Paris bar focuses his activities on IT law and intellectual property law, both as an advisor and a litigator.

He notably accompanies his clients in patent, trademark, and copyright law, as well as in data protection law, digital law, database licenses, contracts related to the exploitation of websites and mobile applications, etc., all with a strong international dimension.

Jean-Guy de Ruffray has taught within the certificate of specialization in intellectual property and new technologies and lectured on the themes “international aspects of intellectual property”, “arbitration and intellectual property” and “cybersecurity” with the Development Institute International at the DJCE (at Paris University, see https://djce.fr/ ).

He joined ADVANT Altana at its creation in 2009, where he was made partner in 2018. He began his career at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP. He is a member of INTA (International Trademark Association).
