Position

Ron Genat is a partner at M. Firon & Co., focusing on commercial law. Ron is vastly experienced in providing legal services to key companies and entities in the market, in all aspects of their activities. In this framework, Ron has been serving as an internal legal advisor at one of the largest and leading defense companies in Israel for the past several years. Ron’s legal practice encompasses all of his clients’ commercial activities, ranging from labor law, to formulating commercial agreements, handling clients’ assets and representing them before relevant authorities and regulatory bodies. A partial list of Ron’s fields of expertise includes commercial law, real estate, construction, infrastructure, finance, labor law, securities law and corporate law. In addition to his ongoing commercial work, Ron is one of the top and most distinguished attorneys practicing aviation law in Israel, and he has been serving as a legal advisor of the Israeli Airline Pilots Association for over a decade. Ron handles both ongoing and strategic matters of aviation law, ranging from representing pilots before the relevant authorities and their employers, to activities pertaining to the Israeli Knesset and contacts with the regulator. In this framework, Ron handles matters of legislation and regulation in connection with aviation law, and takes pride, inter alia, in his contribution to the formulation of the Aviation Law (2011), Israel’s central law for regulating the activity of aircraft operators.
