Career

Oriol is a specialist in dispute resolution (arbitration, mediation and litigation). He has extensive experience in domestic and international arbitration; he advises on complex transnational litigation, commercial and contractual disputes, disputes arising from sales and acquisitions of shares in companies, corporate law and directors’ liability, both for local and international, industrial and financial business groups. He participates in arbitration proceedings before the ICC, ICSID, CAM, CIMA, TAB and in ad hoc proceedings. He is an expert in cases involving multiple jurisdictions and procedural rules.

Oriol combines his work as a lawyer with teaching at a university level. In addition to a Double Degree in Law and Business Administration from the Pompeu Fabra University, he holds a Diploma in Legal Studies from the Oxford University and an LLM from Harvard. He is admitted to practice law in Spain and in the State of New York and is a member of the Barcelona and New York Bar Associations and the Spanish Arbitration Club.
