Career

Fede advises on all types of M&A transactions and startup funding rounds, from initial phases (seed capital) to Series A, B and C rounds. He is very used to working with startups, business angels, venture capital and private equity.

He stands out in the startup ecosystem for his specialization in alternative financing systems (crowdfunding) and international transfers of startups (redomestication) for international investment rounds, working together with several international firms for this purpose. He advised the different equity crowdfunding platforms operating in Spain in negotiations with the Government for the drafting of the first Spanish crowdfunding law (Law 5/2015, of 27 April, on the promotion of business financing) that was approved by the Congress of Deputies.

Likewise, he accumulates years of experience in general legal advice to startups, SMEs and large corporations in all types of matters: stock option plans, phantom shares, or merger, spin-off and acquisition processes. In addition, he acts as Secretary on the Board of Directors of numerous national and international companies.

Fede holds a degree from the Pompeu Fabra University of Barcelona, a Master’s degree MUDE from the University of Navarra and a PDG from IESE Business School.
