Career
Ms. Dalia Hussein, Senior Associate, joined ZH&P’s Arbitration Department in 2014 moving from Orascom Construction Industries. She has worked on many arbitration cases including ad hoc and institutional arbitrations such as CRCICA and ICC, among others, with a special focus on Corporate, Construction, and Telecommunications – among other sectors.
Typical examples of the work she performs include but are not limited to: legal opinions, drafting and reviewing various types of contracts, participating in arbitration agreements, disputes and settlements. She also advised several clients from both public and private entities on legal aspects related the Tender Law – all the way throughout concluding agreements. She also advised investors on all legal aspects applicable to construction activities as well as counselling on and negotiating FDIC-based construction agreements.
With over nine years of experience, recent examples of the matters she has taken part in include:
- Reviewing and conducting mega construction projects with investors and public entities.
- Handling various arbitration cases in accordance with ICC and CRCICA rules.
- Representing Chinese companies in conducting and negotiating multi-million dollar agreements based on FIDIC.
- Representing a major Egyptian telecommunications company in arbitration disputes.

Education
She received the LL.B. in 2010 and the LL.M in Commercial International Law in 2013 – both from the Faculty of Law of Ain Shams University.
