Career

Mark became a partner in October 2020 and is now a director of M S Whittaker Limited, one of our corporate partners. Qualifying in 2006 at an international practice in Leeds, he joined the Firm in 2020.

A talented corporate deal advisor, Mark has acted for clients in connection with buying, selling and investing in businesses both in the UK and across the globe. He has led corporate transactions for clients operating across a huge variety of industry sectors – from financial services, telecoms and IT to retail, FMCG and healthcare. Mark advises on acquisitions, disposals, private equity transactions, management buy-outs and buy-ins, investments, joint ventures, and shareholder issues.

Recent highlights include acting for private equity backed manufacturing companies, advising the selling shareholders of a multinational IT business, and leading on a series of private company investments in the UK and US.
