Adv. Omri Applebaum is a member of the firm’s Sports Department.
Omri specializes in representing, advising and acting on behalf of athletes, officials, associations, federations and sport organizations in Israel and abroad.
Omri represents the firm’s clients involved in legal proceedings in issues relating to Sports law, before internal tribunals, civil courts, and in arbitration and mediation proceedings. Within this framework Omri practices also in contract law, tort and national insurance (sport-related injuries), labor law, administrative law, defamation law, media law etc.
Omri also represents the firm’s clients before International sports tribunals such as FIFA, FIBA, CAS etc.
In addition, Omri provides ongoing services to sports organizations (federations and associations) from their incorporations on to their day to day conduct.
Omri joined Gornitzky & Co in 2021. Prior to joining Gornitzky, Omri worked as an attorney in another leading law firm in Israel.
