Career
Róbert Dezső heads the tax practice of Szecskay Attorneys at Law. Alongside his tax and customs practice, he also deals with administrative law, dispute settlement and corporate law matters. With family roots in Germany, and as native speaker, he is a prominent member of our German desk.
He has a proven track record of representing clients successfully in complex tax and customs litigation matters against the Hungarian Tax Authority. Clients praise him for his pragmatic, business-focused tax advice.
Róbert is particularly recognised in the Hungarian legal community for his landmark victory in a recent customs litigation case that the courts had previously declared unwinnable. He is guest lecturer of tax law at the Institute for Postgraduate Studies at Pázmány Péter Catholic University in Budapest.
