Career

Yoheved Novogroder-Shoshan practices in the areas of life sciences, technology law, intellectual property, corporate partnering and privacy.

Yoheved has extensive experience in counseling life science companies inside and outside of Israel.  Yoheved advises pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device and digital health clients in all aspects of intellectual property generation and commercialization, including in- licensing, research and development, academic collaborations, manufacturing, partnering, out-licensing and other commercialization models.  She also advises software, IT and other technology clients in respect of licensing transactions, technology transfer arrangements, development and supply arrangements, distribution agreements and other commercial transactions.

Yoheved counsels clients in connection with a wide range of database and privacy matters, including the collection and use of personal information, management of databases, cross-border transfers and marketing. She regularly works with well-known global companies to adapt their policies and procedures to the Israeli legal environment.  Yoheved also advises client with respect to commercial transactions having privacy and data protection implications, including trans-border flows of information, and has assisted clients in privacy audits.

Prior to joining Arnon, Tadmor-Levy, Yoheved practiced law in New York for a number of years with Paul Hastings.

Yoheved has published numerous articles on intellectual property, corporate partnering and privacy. She contributed the Israel chapter for the European Lawyer Reference Series: Data Protection and Privacy (Thomson Reuters) and co-authored the Israel chapter in Data Protection: Laws of the World (Sweet & Maxwell).

Yoheved received a B.A., magna cum laude, in 1992 from Barnard College and graduated from Columbia University Law School in 1995. She was admitted to the New York Bar and the New Jersey Bar in 1996, and to the Israel Bar in 2001.
